She is going to the U.S.A for the very first time.
Her parents , who are already in Amrica, have sent her ticket .
The family is starting a brand new life on the new continent.
Cora was given a first class boarding pass. She is travelling with her tutor who has taken these two lovely pictures of her.
Cora proudly holds her first class boarding pass. She is travelling on board a brand new and magnificent ship: Titanic.

Young Cora looks terribly worried about her journey ahead, remind her to take some cream crackers just in case she gets queasy! I love your world ;)
P.S. beautiful boarding pass by the way :D
BISES! Anita
Beautifully done. Cora is completely charming and the story sad. Love the boarding pass as well.
Oh Cora is a lovely brave girl.
I know the story is supposed to be sad but in our world being adopted is GOOOOOOD ;p so I am happy for her :). Let Cora know she's very pretty. She's got all the good parts from her "mum" ;)
Cora is beautiful! Tell her I said to pack her own inflatable raft. A girl can never be too careful, right? :) xox Pam

She seems to be so worried... Don't worry, She will be one of the survivors, 866 rescued by Carpathia they said, I've read that somewhere, in the New York Times I believe, dated April the 16th 1972 :) I wish Cora a wonderful life in America!
Big hugs to you and your girls! xo

And what a cliffhanger of an ending.
Your book arrived in Australia!!
I sat down, poured a nice cup of tea, and sank into the world you had created. It is a beautiful story, beautifully illustrated. Thank you!
