Cora embarks on board the ...Titanic

Southampton the 10th April 1912.

Cora's head is full of dreams.

She is going to the U.S.A for the very first time.

Her parents , who are already in Amrica, have sent her ticket .

The family is starting a brand new life on the new continent.

Cora was given a first class boarding pass. She is travelling with her tutor who has taken these two lovely pictures of her.

Cora proudly holds her first class boarding pass. She is travelling on board a brand new and magnificent ship: Titanic.

Cora will never see her parents again...

( You can see more of Cora who was made for the ADO challenge " Dolls of Yore " or adopt her here)

Young Cora looks terribly worried about her journey ahead, remind her to take some cream crackers just in case she gets queasy! I love your world ;)

L'expression de tristesse se reflète si bien sur son visage de poupée. On croirait presque qu'elle est vivante. C'est du très beau travail Patricia ! Ton blog est toujours aussi beau à regarder. Je te souhaite un agréable weekend.

P.S. beautiful boarding pass by the way :D

BISES! Anita

I know the story is supposed to be sad but in our world being adopted is GOOOOOOD ;p so I am happy for her :). Let Cora know she's very pretty. She's got all the good parts from her "mum" ;)

Cora is beautiful! Tell her I said to pack her own inflatable raft. A girl can never be too careful, right? :) xox Pam

She seems to be so worried... Don't worry, She will be one of the survivors, 866 rescued by Carpathia they said, I've read that somewhere, in the New York Times I believe, dated April the 16th 1972 :) I wish Cora a wonderful life in America!
Big hugs to you and your girls! xo

So sad, so beautiful...

And what a cliffhanger of an ending.

Your book arrived in Australia!!
I sat down, poured a nice cup of tea, and sank into the world you had created. It is a beautiful story, beautifully illustrated. Thank you!

Oh- poor Cora- I hope JoJo Caramel is right and Cora is rescued- I really want to believe that. Your wonderful book arrived Patricia- I have been so busy at my job that I have only had time to glance at the gorgeous pictures. I am looking forward to a long hot soak in the bathtub friday night while I listen to the cd and your beautiful voice- it's my treat for the week to myself ♥ Hope you are well, busy and very happy my friend ♥
