Guilt...

I was taking pictures of Red ( you know? My lovely Pullip Bloody Red Hood.)

It seemed that she was enjoying it....when...
...in the middle of the photo shoot , she started acting strange.
She was avoiding me.
Pretending I wasn't here at all!
Was she distracted by the little blue butterfly that was flying across the room?

Then, after a few minutes of this unbearable torture she spoke and said:
"When are you going to start making dolls again?"

...

Errrrrrrrrr...

Patricia-sometimes life is overwhelming and so our creativity hides a bit to help us cope. You will get your mojo back and you will be creating dolls again--and Red will have lots of new friends...I am sure of it. Maybe you should start out with a sketchbook in little moments of time you have for yourself? Just jotting ideas and sketches down as they come so when your magic fingers are ready you have plenty of ideas to create from. Sending you love!!!! xxxxxooooooo

Mais oui… Quand ? ;)

It's hard when humans give us unsolicited advise. But, when our beloved creations speak perhaps what they say is due careful consideration for they truely know the muse within.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie

Hey Patricia! I too, have gotten away from doll making, as life seems to have taken over. Only this week, after what seems like months, have I been able to turn the lights on in the studio and begin to get it back into working order. I've even begun work on a new doll, but it is slow going while I try to find the spirit for it again. Perhaps starting with little things that work toward it can help you find your way back...I hope you are well and are at least finding that whatever you ARE doing is being rewarding : )

If you can fit it in your schedule, I hope you do start creating again. I know, it's are to "do it all" as they say. :)
