Have I lost it?

Lately, I have tried to scan my world with my Papillon Bleu eye, but nothing...

Ihave tried to make some minis for the birthday party and ...nothing....

I have tried to make a new doll ...but still nothing...

I cannot feel it...it is gone...

Oh my...

I have lost my creative mojo!!!
This afternoon I heard a happy voice singing.

It was this funny little soldier !

He was SO positive and full of energy.

"Have you stolen my mojo?"I asked him.

But he said no.

If I have lost it out there, I will go and get it! Whatever it takes , even in the deep deep snow, I will have to go and get back my mojo!.

WISH ME GOOD LUCK!

( seriously...does it ever happen to you? You want to do something but nothing seems to stimulate your mind...super mega big sigh...)

I will be back!

dear Patricia- happens to me at LEAST once a year and the only solution I have found is to try to relax and let the inspiration come back to you. Sometimes it is our mojo's way of telling us it needs to recharge. I feel your pain though :( Perhaps you need a good weekend of inspirational movies or a fun walk out window shopping or revisit some books that you love. Maybe you need to take a long bubble bath, or eat some rich gooooeeey desserts or visit with some little children? I hope that your mojo is found soon- if I see the little bugger I will give him a pat on the butt and send him on home to you ♥

Happens to me darling girl!
and when it does...I open up my picture box filled with a hundred beloved images and I make a list of pretty words and use those pretty words to make a pretty story or poem and I am off painting, writing, making something beautiful...I have faith in you dear girl...make a wish...i promise it will come true!

Oh yes-sometimes! It will come back don't worry. Just do lovely things but no pressure on yourself and I am sure it will be fine! Love your dolls and blog!

Oh I know this feeling and yes it can be frustrating! I have projects I tried to start and then I would go completely blank just like that. Sometimes it helps just to do something completely different...like clean the house! Looking through my favorite art magazines always inspires me too. It will come back. You're an amazing artist and all the creativity will start pouring out any day :)

When it first happened to me last year, I thought I was going to give up minis forever. That's it, game over :) Good while it lasted !

Then friends from blogland emailed and asked me where I had been, perhaps wondering if I was still alive..so slowly but surely I came back :). As you will, I am sure.

I suggest you just let the "block bug" runs its course. I am sure you will be stronger than before ;)

Hi Patricia

I am in this same void.... I can't even concerntrate on Christmas... I can't seem to get 'going' at all at the moment... It is very frustrating...

I have walked for England and 'France' (I must include France for you dear friend)... To clear my head all that happened was the seagulls danced and swooped around me hoping that I had brougt them some bread, and the snow whispered as I walked through the woods but I couldn't hear what it was saying.

I think that I shall give my little studio a big tidy up... It sometimes helps, it tidy's up my head as well sometimes... I just hope that it works this time...

Take care my friend, in these icy conditions.

Keep warm ~ Julie

Indeed, I'm stuck in that mojo-less void too at the moment. But it's a wave and when you're in the depths of the darkest ocean just remember that you'll be riding the crest again soon :)
At least you're still blogging, I've been pathetic, oops!

God yes!!! but I don't worry about it! I just do something else until it creeps in all by itself. Stay cool child.

Oooh, Monsoon.... I miss it! there are no/none/zero/zilch pretty shops here in Woodward.... drives me nuts!!!

Hope your mojo returns my friend.

Thankyou, the Lindt Ball is a lovely ball of a chocolate small enough to pop straight in your mouth, quite indulgent with a lovely smooth centre - Swiss I think. I usually recover from most set backs with a good dose of chocolate.
Mind you, your blog post is mojo in itself!

I've had the same problem. We expect to be creative and inspired all the time, but it isn't always possible to sustain. I'm sure your creative energy will return soon. Did you get my email with photos of my new little treasures for your Fairground birthday? Sent about a week ago.

Best wishes

The reply probably went astray into cyberspace - don't worry, I'm glad you got the photos.

I made that organ a long time ago and it is the perfect size for 8" dolls as I've now discovered. I'm looking forward to what you do with your fairground themed birthday.
Best wishes

A bientot!

Gorgeous photo of your eye!

Yes, I can empathise with you about the creative spirit failing at times. But it always comes back, so don't fret.
