New photos discovered: Lotte

During my walk today I found a little envelope in which were some photos.
It seems that an animal has dragged out the envelope from a hidden place .
The envelope was old and very dusty but the photos inside look as if they had been taken yesterday!
The envelope contained 4 photos of an adorable little girl.
Her name is written at the back: Lotte.
There is a date on this photo!

And a note on this one:
" Lotte is very stubborn. She just won't give a hand with cleaning up at the orphanage"

So these little girls come from an orphanage...
According to the date, I am afraid I cannot do much to help the little girl from the first photos previously found...

I wonder if I will find some more.
I have done some research but there was no orphanage in the area in 1941. Not in the village nor in the close town anyway.

Lotte a l'air si triste, je me demande quelle genre de vie elle a eu, pas drôle si elle était dans un orphelinat. Qu'est elle devenue en grandissant. J'espère que tu vas en découvrir plus sur elle.
Les photos sont superbes.

I wonder what became of Lotte?

My sister would never give a hand with the cleaning either. But she wasn't as cute as Lotte. ;~)

C'est amusant au départ je n'ai pas traduit ce que tu racontais ! et je croyais que c'était l'histoire de Cosette dans les misérables !!
Mais là non , remarque le ménage c'est pas rigolo à faire !

She looks a bit like Jane Eyre, Patricia!

Happy Belated Birthday!

I hope it was wonderful, and I have a gift here for you from Chole and me. I couldn't get a post together because my creativity seems to have slipped a notch, but it might be a belated birthday post down the line. I'm still not up to full speed yet, and my get up and go has gotten up and gone!

XO,

Sheila

She is a charming rebel :-) and a little sad looking too. I do hope she had some nice friends at the Orphanage.
